All About Avril

Avril Lavigne is not only a rock star and musician, but is also an actress and fashion designer. Her style is laid back, relaxed and skater-girl punk inspired. Some of her fashions look young and edgy, while others are simply comfortable and relaxed.

She often mixes naughty with nice in her fashions and has been seen wearing anything from a lace dress with a skull and crossbones pendant, a plaid skirt with fishnets, to jeans and a hoodie, or hooded sweatshirt, with Converse sneakers.

Unlike many celebrities who flaunt their bikini-clad bodies, Avril is rarely seen in a bikini or any type of bathing suit. Recently, while on a winter vacation in Miami with husband Deryck Whibley, photographers caught glimpses of her in two different bikinis. Very fit and slender, Avril looks great no matter what she wears, and in a bikini, that sense of style and beauty is enhanced all the more. She was spotted in:

• A hot pink bikini with black straps that tie behind her neck. Her hair had hot pink streaks in it that perfectly matched her swimsuit and a pair of black oversized sunglasses completed her look.

• On another day, Avril was seen in a sky-blue bikini embossed with a decorative detail and a halter-style top. Her hair was pulled up in a simple ponytail, and she once again wore her oversized sunglasses.

Photographers caught her in a typical Avril outfit consisting of a deep purple hoodie and aqua blue skirt worn over her bikinis. When seen strolling the beach, Avril's bathing suit is always covered up by a hoodie or skirt.

Avril Lavigne released her clothing line, Abbey Dawn, exclusively for Kohl's. The name is based on her childhood nickname and the line reflects her personal style.

Abbey Dawn is a juniors lifestyle brand that has been released just in time for back to school. It contains rocker chic style clothing with patterns such as skulls, plaids and zebra prints. Her signature colors are hot pink, black and purple. Some fun Abbey Dawn pieces include:
