Think about what your upper body looks like. If you are very fit and toned, consider a triangle or a bandeau top.
An underwire top is usually a good choice for a fuller figure. Never forsake comfort for "hot" fashion.
If showing a lot of skin makes you uncomfortable, then consider a tanikini. It provides comfortable coverage and moves with your body.
Thin straps always look good on the upper body because it emphasizes the delicate shape of your shoulders, collarbone and neck.
