Here Them Roar

The Jacksonville Jaguars swimsuit calendar is composed of The Roar, the Jacksonville cheerleading team.

These lovely ladies, however, are more than just pretty faces. Aside from their intricate dance routines and high energy performances, these cheerleaders are all either enrolled in college (as full-time students), or are full or part-time employees that participate in numerous charitable events. Both the Jacksonville Jaguars football team and the Roar take part in:

• Hospital Visits

• Blood Drives

• Food Drives

These are just a few of the many programs these talented cheerleaders lend a helping hand in.

There are about thirty-three cheerleaders in the Roar and many of them can be found within the shiny pages of the Jaguars swimsuit calendar. Something that may surprise many of their fans are the ages of some of these beautiful ladies (from thirty-seven to twenty-one). These women do a great job of dispelling the “I’m a young airhead” myth that seems to surround cheerleading.

Not only is this a mature and hardworking team, but many of these ladies hold such high powered jobs as a stock market analyst, or are partners in business. Those that are still currently enrolled at school have majors that vary from biology to nursing. Obviously, these cheerleaders are anything but airheads!

The Jacksonville Jaguars Swimsuit Calendar

The Jacksonville Jaguars swimsuit calendar is also called The Roar, and it pays homage to this fantastic cheerleading team. Within its pages you’ll find a stunning collection of photographs that highlight The Roars' cheerful, friendly and highly energetic personalities. Each month features a selected cheerleader, but the entire team is pictured on the back cover. What you won’t find are pages and pages of girls in G-string bikinis and micro thongs. These ladies leave that to the amateurs.

Instead, expect these cheerleaders to don beautiful swimsuits and bikinis that show off their tanned and fit physique, but still leave something to the imagination. The entire calendar gives off a fresh, friendly and inviting vibe, as if the girl next door just happened to put on a bikini and got snapped pool side.

What comes through most in this calendar is exactly what The Roar is all about; smart, sexy, classy women that cheer for their team and invite you to do the same.

Appearances

With terrific attitudes like theirs, it’s no wonder that folks clamor to meet The Roar! On the official Jaguars website, you can search for all the latest appearances for this much in demand cheerleading team.

Even better, you can personally fill out a request form to meet the Roar. You’ll be asked whether this appearance is requested by a business, a church, a school, etc. You’ll have to provide tables, chairs, a sound system and the like, but the Jaguars insist that all requests are carefully evaluated. If seeing the Roar in person is a dream of yours, there’s a good chance that it might come true!

Roar for Yourself: Audition!

Practice is necessary for cheerleaders.

If you think you’ve got what it takes to join the Roar, consider the following requirements:

• You must be eighteen years or older and hold a high school diploma or the equivalent.

• In keeping with the spirit of the team, participants must have some kind of personal responsibility like that of school, work or children.

• Living within sixty miles of the home stadium, or being willing to relocate, is a must.

• You’ll also be required to attend an “audition class” before the actual audition date. Along with the $50.00 fee, you’ll be required to send in a black and white photograph.

What is truly great about this is that it can be any type of photograph (professional or just a Polaroid). The team explicitly states that you will not be judged on looks; this photo is simply used for identification purposes. Isn’t that refreshing to hear?
