Mackenzie Rosman in a Swimsuit

There are currently very few pictures of 7th Heaven star Mackenzie Rosman in a swimsuit. However, it seems likely that the former child star will soon turn this around as she continues to try and redefine her image from little girl to grown woman.

Since Mackenzie Rosman was a star on the family friendly show 7th Heaven, there are people who not only expect Mackenzie Rosman not to grow up, but to continue to work only in similarly themed projects. In fact, she is involved with a horror film and is said to be interested in pursuing different roles that would allow her to expand her skills.

Her wholesomeness is also seen in her non-acting pursuits, as she's very involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Her interest stemmed from concern for her half-sister who had the disease and sadly passed from it, but Mackenzie Rosman continues to advocate for the foundation. She is also an ambassador for Childhelp Inc. and is involved with a number of animal charities.

Currently, Mackenzie Rosman is more likely to be photographed in riding gear since she is a skilled, passionate horsewoman and a competitive jumper rather than a swimsuit model. That said, there are few photographs of Mackenzie Rosman in a swimsuit on fan pages.

At Fan Pix, you can find a half shot of Mackenzie at the beach, wearing a floral pink halter bikini top with a shirred front.

There is another photograph that claims to be of Mackenzie Rosman at the beach, found at Teemix.aufeminin.com, but the angle is such that it is difficult to tell if this is actually the actress. She is wearing large sunglasses, and her hair is very long and fairly straight. The suit is a black two-piece with a tie-strap bottom and tankini top. The image shows off a tattoo on her lower back.

One way in which Mackenzie Rosman is shedding her "good girl" image is with a few photographs that have recently gained some Internet traffic and discussion. Although the images aren't of Mackenzie Rosman in a swimsuit, they do seem to show her in a bright pink bra and abbreviated lime green panties while leaning forward in a very sexual pose.

This seems like an unusual move for an actress who has been mindful of her image and publicity and has been loathe to do even a basic swimsuit photo shoot, let alone something for a men's magazine like Maxim. Other young actresses have used similar magazines to persuade the public to begin thinking about them in a more adult light, but until this photo emerged, it seemed as if Ms. Rosman was not going to go that route.

On the other hand, since there has been a lack of discussion about the photograph on fan sites and blogs, keep in mind that this may be a doctored picture of the star. It seems more likely that fans who want to see Mackenzie Rosman in an upcoming Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition will have to bide their time. Meanwhile, they can enjoy her foray into different acting projects. The 2009 film Ligeia, based on an Edgar Allan Poe story, is an R-rated thriller. Less is known to date about the 2010 fantasy film Fading of the Cries, although it is currently categorized as a horror/thriller with a substantial role for Mackenzie Rosman. Even though she has yet to do any overtly sexy photo shoots, it's all definitely a far cry from little Ruthie Camden.
