Known for their itty-bitty suits, at Malibu you'll find:

• Solids: Here, the term "solid" solely refers to the color of the swimsuit. Within this category, you can find everything from gold lame classic bottoms to royal blue colored sling shot swimsuits.

• Prints: The Print category offers some fantastic patterns that range from foil camouflage to a print called the Hologram Dot.

• Sheer: As the name implies, sheer swimsuits, in a variety of styles, rules this category.

• Mix and Match Suits: Here, you have the option of choosing the top and bottom of her preference.

When it comes to entering a bikini competition, the Malibu Strings bikini contest may be the most competitive of them all! That's because the beauties that enter this competition have only one thing in mind: winning!

In order to achieve that objective, these lovely ladies have squeezed themselves into swimsuits (when they are wearing suits at all!), so small that much of whatever fabric is left looks more like adornment than clothing.

To get a good idea of what this bikini competition is all about, consider Malibu's guidelines for submitting photographs. Malibu invites customers to submit photos of themselves while wearing the companies' products. The winner is chosen based on the photo that best represents the product and company label, while embracing the motto of "Swimsuits for the Uninhibited".

If this sounds like a chance of a lifetime, it's best to strictly adhere to the Malibu Strings Bikini competition rules. They are as follows:

• All contestants must be eighteen years or older.

• In order to submit photographs, or other materials, you must acknowledge and accept the site's terms and conditions. All of these conditions are fully outlined in a separate window on the site and covers all of the usual "legalese".

• Malibu Strings reserves the right to reject submissions without further explanation. All pictures that are not used will be deleted, but customers have the right to submit photos more than once. Each time a photograph is selected, the candidate receives a $100.00 gift certificate.

• The photo guidelines are not complicated. Malibu Strings prefers photos that are taken in public, at a beach or other tropical locale. Along with the theme of "Swimsuits for the Uninhibited", Malibu prefers photography that is natural and not doctored or manufactured in any way.

Contestant hopefuls can submit a photo by uploading their files directly using the YouSendIt.com box (this tool is located on the completion page). After this is completed, it is recommended that the participants email the company directly at photos@malibustrings.com to confirm delivery and to provide a story (where the pictures where taken, with whom, what was the context) to go along with the photographs.

If using the YouSendIt.com button is incompatible with your computer system, you can email photos, in a JPG format to: photos@malibustrings.com. Additionally, you should send five or six photos at a time that are at least 1200x800 pixels; the higher the quality of the images, the better.

Note: Do not compress the photos because this will cause technical trouble for Malibu on their end of things.

It is perfectly acceptable to send several photos, but the limit here is ten to fifteen. Photographs can also be sent through the mail to:

If you are wondering what your photographs should look like, or which photographs are most popular, Michele of Malibu Strings is a great example.

Michelle's photographs were taken at her friend's condo in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and she is wearing a silver bandeau top with a micro bottom. Most of the pictures were taken at sunset when the light is most flattering, and you can clearly see the Malibu swimsuit she's sporting. The ocean and the condo building in the background provides a certain depth and scale to the photos.

Michele offers a variety of poses, some of them coy and kittenish (biting on her finger, looking over one shoulder and smiling); while others are more blatantly sexual (a few are sans the actual swimsuit!). There are full body shots, shots from the front, shots from the back and even a close-up of her face. Overall, the photos quite literally show the swimsuit from every angle.

Michele's now quite popular, and she encourages her fans to listen to her on the radio, at 620 WDAE, where she appears once a week.
