The highly anticipated SI Swimsuit Edition 2007 is finally here. If you've had enough of the winter doldrums, let us transport you to a place of sunshine, swimsuit models, and... music stars?

Yes, music stars. SI Swimsuit Edition 2007 features a "Musicians and Models" theme, pairing up some of our favorite beauties with musical greats from a variety of genres.

• Gorgeous Ann V snuggles up with that old softy Kanye West as she sports a sinfully delicious swimsuit from perennial SI favorite Sauvage.
• Marisa Miller, decked out in an Ashley Paige boy shorts bikini, plays air guitar with country crooner and Renee Zellweger ex Kenny Chesney.
• Margaritaville refugee Jimmy Buffet kicks back with the lovely Brooklyn Decker.

As we've come to expect, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition takes us to exotic tropical locations like St. Bart's and Key Biscayne for many of the shoots. Page after page is filled with stretches of beach, white caps and enough sunshine to make us forget it's actually still February.

In a break from tradition, this year's issue also includes studio shots from New York, Los Angeles and even Nashville, Tennessee.

Rumors have abounded for months about who would appear on the highly coveted cover of SI Swimsuit Edition 2007. Might it be girl racer Danica Patrick? Another sporting beauty? Guess again.

Sports Illustrated cover girl Beyonce Knowles may be a bit of a surprise to some, but the choice is perfectly logical. Although she's not a traditional swimsuit model, Beyonce needs no other celebrity companions for this shoot. She's a one woman show all on her own; a singer/actress who definitely knows how to work a sultry swimsuit.

The sexy Dreamgirls diva steams up the salty sands of Key Biscayne in a collection of designer swimwear from House of Deréon. Our favorite? Try this combination of sand and tangerine with hip embellishments.

As always, SI Swimsuit Edition 2007 never fails to satisfy our urge to escape from our everyday lives. Now that this year's issue has been unveiled, one has to wonder what next year's edition will bring?
