Spring Break Thong Contest
From LoveToKnow Swimsuits
The highlight of any college student’s annual spring vacation can be a spring break thong contest, whether as a participant or spectator.
While bikini contests are common at just about any spring break venue, contests that showcase the best thong (and thong-wearer) can add even more spice to an already hot event!
Enjoying Thong Contests as Spectators
This doesn’t require much besides a set of eyes. Face it, the majority of people watching or judging a spring break thong contest will be guys. This is one of the best parts of spring break; watching gorgeous girls parade around in revealing attire. Still, you don’t want to be obnoxious and possibly ejected from any events, so make sure you:
- Treat the participants with respect: This means no degrading name calling or touching. It’s fine to show your appreciation with applause, catcalls and whistling, but keep it respectful in tone.
- No booing: It takes a lot of courage to climb on a stage in a tiny swimsuit and model for an audience, so play nice and cheer loudly for your favorite contestant, but don’t boo the girls you don’t want to win.
- Don’t drink too much: While spring break often involves indulging in alcoholic beverages, you don’t want to drink so much that you become obnoxious (and therefore, unable to treat the contestants with respect) or pass out. If you’re so drunk that you can’t stay awake, you’re going to miss all the fun.
Participating in a Spring Break Thong Contest
If you think you have what it takes to take home the contest prize, then by all means strut your stuff! This is a fun activity, but it can get kind of raunchy so keep that in mind. While the guys judging the contest might not know a designer suit from a cheap one, you’ll still want to wear something impressive, and because this is a thong contest, you'll be required to wear a thong bottom. How can you put forth your best effort and wow the judges?
- Consider a tan: While just about everyone knows about the dangers of tanning, swimsuit models are famous for their bronzed bodies. You don’t have to bake in the sun to get that beautiful color; there are fake tanners on the market that will have you looking as tan and tropical as if you’d spent all season on an island resort.
- Show confidence: If you look like you know you’re going to win, chances are good that you will. Confidence is attractive and there’s nothing like feeling sexy to make you appear that way to others. While it would be difficult to fade into the background while parading around in a thong, let the audience see how confident you are, and that you have what it takes to win!
- Look great in that thong: When deciding on which thong swimsuit to wear, make sure it highlights all the right areas without drawing attention to anything negative. Naturally, your bottom will be bare, so be sure you’re as toned as can be. It’s not just the swimsuit that’s being judged, it’s how hot you look in it. If you need to step up an exercise routine in the weeks before spring break in anticipation of entering a contest, look for workouts that focus on strengthening and toning your gluteus maximus for maximum results.
Not Just for the Guys
While traditional bikini contests feature female contestants, a little turnabout is fair play! Who says that only girls can wear thongs and compete? For the ladies interested in seeing the guys showcase what they’ve got, get together and host your own contest. The prize doesn’t have to be big or elaborate; many contests feature small cash winnings, if that. Very few will award the winner with a prestigious swimsuit modeling contract. The main idea of any spring break contest is to have a good time with it, so ladies, throw a contest to find the hottest guy in a thong and enjoy the view!
