Petra's modeling career has also placed her on the cover of prestigious industry magazine Elle and made her a regular feature in the Victoria's Secret catalog.

On a more serious note, Petra is a survivor of the devastating tsunami that struck the Pacific ring in 2004. She had been vacationing with photographer/boyfriend Simon Atlee at a resort in Thailand when the waves suddenly came crashing in.

Atlee was swept away and later confirmed dead, but Petra managed to survive the ordeal by clinging to a palm tree for over eight hours. She suffered a crushed pelvis and other injuries, but the fact that she fought so hard to survive shows she's one strong woman.

Petra's future still looks quite bright, and she has currently been romantically linked to singer James Blunt.

German lovely Heidi Klum is one of the most well-known swimsuit models to ever grace the pages of Sport Illustrated and Victoria's Secret catalog.

Not content with just a super modeling career, Heidi appears to be a very ambitious woman. She designs her own line of clothing and swimsuits, has produced her own fragrance, "Heidi", and has lent her celebrity to jewelry designer Mouawad.

Heidi also enjoys a fairly fruitful acting career with appearances in major motion pictures. She's also the host of Project Runway, a reality show on the Bravo network that traces the journey of a group of hungry would-be fashion designers vying for a shot to display their lines at New York's prestigious Fashion Week festivities.

In her personal life, Heidi is married to singer Seal. They share their home with the couple's combined three children.
