Hi Rosemarie,

That is terrible; I'm really surprised that I keep hearing this problem associated with this swimwear. Where did you buy your suit? Please write back, and I'll try to get you a number you can all. This is really an outrage and both you and Pat should get your money back.

I,too, was in love with my Coco Reef suit until I had the embarrassing experience of having the suit color run all over towels I was sitting on at a resort while I was away. I want to contact the company but I do not know how to reach them. That is how I found your website and I wanted to leave my comment after reading Pat's comment above.

Hi Pat,

I'm sorry that you had such a terrible experience. Have you contacted the company? And if so, what did they tell you?

I recently purchased a tankini made by Coco Reef and was excited because it was the first one I ever bought that fit me properly. Trying it on in the fitting room is not like wearing it at the beach. The underwires were made of thin metal and very pointy at the ends. These underwires poked into my skin and actually left marks on my skin. The suit was extremely uncomfortable and I will not wear it again. I wore it exactly 6 times. It was expensive for my budget but I thought since it was expensive that it would be a quality item. I wrote to the company online and received no reply. I am very disappointed and will not purchase any more Coco Reef products in the future.

Hi Debby,

That is strange; I'm sorry that that happened. That said, I did find this link on the website. There does seem to be some information there; why not contact them and see if they can help you? At the very least, I'm sure they'll be able tell you if this has happened before to anyone else. Thank you for the post and good luck!

I loved my Coco Reef swimwear until after the second year, it started leaving black greaselike marks on me each time I wore it. I thought maybe I had acidentally gotten it near some grease, so I washed it many times, only to find that it was actually something that seemed to be bleeding through the actual fabric. Anyone else with this experience? I cannot find out how to contact the manufacturer. It is weird.

Roxanne Swimwear is also available at biggerbras.com. New swimsuits for 2009 are in-stock and with availability and can be ordered.

Hi Tracey,

That information doesn't seem to be available online. It seems that the best thing you can do is head back to the place you purchased it and ask them for the manufacturer's information. I wish there was a simpler way.

I had the same problem with the underwire poking through the swimsuit after I wore it 1 time. Is there no way to contact the manufacturer directly?

Hi Irene,

We're so sorry to hear that! How frustrating it must be for you. Thank you for sharing your experience here with other visitors- it might help them in their future purchasing decisions.

The fit is great. Never expected to find a 44DD tankini top. However, the underwire is fatally narrow with a minimal amount of plastic at each end and poked through the swimsuit fabric casing (dumb idea - why didn't they use a sturdier cotton tape to encase the underwire?) the first hour I wore it. Now I'm faced with trying to figure out some klutzy repair/improvement for a bra top I just paid 48.00 (on sale) for and planned on taking to the beach tomorrow! In Oregon you can't return swimsuits once they've been worn, or at least at Macy's. Not happy.
